In a fiery sermon in April 2003, Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. said: “The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes three-strike laws and wants them to sing God Bless America. “No! No No! “God damn America … for killing innocent people. “God damn America for threatening citizens as less than humans. “God damn America as long as she tries to act like she is God and supreme.”

Left-brained 'Christians'
I've told you about the evangelicals who are searching for a new political identity – some of whom are calling themselves
"Red Letter Christians." And I've told you about one of these charlatans,
by the name of Jim Wallis, who is hitting the Christian college circuit. I think I have a better name for these folks – "left-brained Christians."
