Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) listing, Hamas is a terrorist organization. It is a federal crime to provide "material support or resources" to a designated FTO. But the
Washington Post, the
New York Times, at least one of the Holy Foundation Trial criminal
trial jurors, and
Mr. Jimmy Carter do not accept that Hamas is a terrorist organization. Mr. Carter is
meeting with the Hamas terrorist group and seeks to influence American foreign policy in regards to that group. As
Mr. Carter embraces members of the Hamas terrorist group, what are the consequences of American tolerance of those who defend, consort with, and provide a platform of legitimacy for terrorist groups?
