What You Should Know About Your Right To Keep And Bear Arms
By Jeff Newcomb (Concepts2)
 Member of
I listened to a very spirited water cooler discussion today regarding the Supreme Court's apparent acknowledgement that the Constitution does indeed protect the right of a private citizen to keep and bear arms.  To be honest, it was a horrible, slogan filled discussion that neither side were prepared to have.  I'm only a slight history/quote buff and was able to shed some light for the Water Cooler Warriors, and thought I'd share a few quotes with you. Continued...

The blind mind of the Nation

“Generalizations are shadows of Reality, and manifestation of a blind human mind.” - Boris Tiraspolsky, Quotations and Maxims

The Blind Mind of the Nation

Theoretically speaking, the U.S. Congress is supposed to be the collective Mind of the Nation. The Congress should have a precise realistic Vision of “a more perfect” Future for the Nation. In his own turn President needs the Political Will to lead the Nation through all historic difficulties and obstacles to that “more perfect”  Future.

In reality the collective Mind of the Nation - the Democratic-controled Congress - is absolutely blind. Moreover, it is deaf, and incapable of hearing independent voices of reason screaming and yelling to stop the Nation from slouching into abyss, the blind Congress cannot see.

How many times all of us recently heard generalizations by members of the Congress: “the American people want this”, “the American people demand that”, “the American people voted against the war”? In order to cover these meaningless clichés, Democrats shamelessly add the word “majority”. The latter creates even stronger misleading generalizations that “the majority of the American people” is always right. Thus Democrats in the Congress justify their pushing the Nation to defeat in battle.

Currently, any rational independent thought in America is doomed to be a part of a “minority” and in opposition to the blind Congress. This historic model could be hardly considered productive even at a time of Peace. Generalizations in the name of the American people facing ideologically charged enemy with Weapons of Mass Destruction are misleading the Nation in seeing the Truth about itself and recognizing perilous reality of the War on Terror.

The blind and deaf Congress along with confused “majority of the American people” need to learn that a national debate representing opposite views in combating Terrorism is a legitimate exercise in “freedom of speech“ at a time of peace. At a time of total terrorist war waged against the Nation, the very same debate turns into U.S. Ideological Civil War (Read more...) between American patriots and ideological collaborators with enemy. (Read more...)

Ideological immaturity of the Nation

"The failure to recognize the ideological nature of “cause celebre” for Islamic jihadists creates great confusion in minds of the American people and U.S. political establishment."

Imaturity of American Daydreamer
______________________________

Ideological Struggle and Ideologicsl Immaturity of the Nation

The U.S. Ideological Civil War - to fight or not to fight Terror - is the reality the Nation has to face and deal with. It is a struggle” between those who usurped “constitutional rights” and those who accept Constitutional Responsibilities at a time of War.

First part of the Nation's political elites takes advantage of the freedom of speech to voice their mostly ignorant, although, influential “opinions”, on “life or death” matters of total terrorist warfare waged against the Nation.

The second part of the U.S. poliical elites is in minority. It slowly - two slowly - accepts emerging principles of new U.S. Ideology of Anti-Terrorism necessary to “secure the Blessings of Liberty”, and for survival of the Nation in battle with Terror.

One of the hottest debates in the homeland “ideological struggle“ today, is that the United States is “less secure” because of the war on Terror, or more precisely the military operation in Iraq.

People expressing this particular “opinion” usually quote the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) report of April 2006: “the Iraq conflict has become the “cause celebre” for jihadists, breeding a deep resentment of U.S. involvement in Muslim world and cultivating the global jihadists movement”.

The quote from the NIE presented above is an example of ideological numbness of those who wrote it, and a lack of knowledge of those who repeat it. The truth of the matter is that the sole genuine “cause celebre” for jihadists is and always was the Ideology of the Islamic Law formed more then thousand years before establishing the United States.

From the time of Muhammad (570-632 AC) the Islamic Law explicitly declares that all nations must surrender to Islamic rule, if not its faith. In other words, all non-Islamic Nations are a perpetual subject for jihad, or Holy War, and could be never absolutely “secure“.

Throughout centuries the Ideology of the Islamic Law underwent times of victories and times of defeats. However, all inspirations and motivations for jihadists come only from two main ideological authorities of Islam - Koran and Hadiths.

Koran is the Supreme body of the Islamic Law, that describes jihadists who die for their faith, as martyrs deserving a unique place in heaven. Hadiths is a record of the Prophet Muhammad’s precepts, actions, and his life, constituting his Sunna, or example of the “role model” for jihadits.

The failure to recognize the ideological nature of “cause celebre” for jihadists creates great confusion in minds of the American people and U.S. political establishment.

All of us need to learn a bitter, although, pragmatic lesson of the Global War on Terror: it is not “the Iraq conflict“...or “U.S. involvement in Muslim world... cultivating the global jihadists movement”, but the current vagueness and frailty of U.S. Ideology of Anti-Terrorism!

The ideology of Non-Interventionism

"In the face of the continuing threats of global Islamist terrorism and the challenge of Islamism, the ideology of "Non-Interventionism" is offered by its adherents as a panacea that will provide peace in our time. Instead of defining the enemy and developing a strategy to combat them, Non-Interventionists seek to get Americans to abandon our values, turn on our allies, pretend that the enemy will leave us alone if we merely change our foreign policy, ignore the interconnected nature of modern globalism, and ignore what the enemies of freedom seek to achieve in the world."

Jihad, Islamism, and Non-Interventionism
By Jeffrey Imm

As seen in two recent books by counterterrorism analysts, the ideology of Non-Interventionism is gaining popularity with a segment of the American public. While Non-Interventionist ideology plays off the frustrations of some of the American public with America's handling of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, it is the wrong answer to the confusion over global Jihad and Islamism. Two recently-released books by counterterrorism analysts offer a panacea of Non-Interventionism ideology: Michael Scheuer's "Marching Toward Hell - America and Islam After Iraq", and Marc Sageman's "Leaderless Jihad". The Non-Interventionist ideology represented by these authors does not critically examine the role of political Islamism in Islamist terrorism; therefore the authors conclude that an appeasement approach towards Islamism will improve American national security. Continued...

Strategic Intention and Mass Man
by J. R. Nyquist

There recently appeared an essay by Anthony Daniels, published in The New Criterion, in which he summarized Spanish philosopher Jose Ortega y Gasset’s notion of “mass man” as the man “who goes from distraction to distraction, who is prey to absurd fashions, who never thinks deeply….” In the first decade of the twenty-first century this is all too familiar. In 2008 we live in a society dominated by “mass men,” overtaken by mass psychology, mass media, mass schooling and the mass ignorance presently crowding in around us. Continued...

Can We Win the Ideological War?
by Patrick J. Buchanan

Asked during World War II why the British continued to fight so ferociously, Churchill is said to have snorted, “If we stop, you’ll find out.”

The question arises in the war on terror: we know who the main enemy is, al-Qaeda, the men and movement responsible for 9/11, but what are they fighting for? What is their war all about? Continued...

Quotations and Maxims

Ideology of Anti-Terrorism is a night vision gadget for observing enemy’s activities through the extreme darkness on battlefields of total terrorist warfare.

Quotations and Maxims
by Boris Tiraspolsky
Founding Member of
American Ideological Society

The U.S. War on Terrorism more and more reminds of a story about a boy who cried wolf. In this story our Government plays a role of the boy, the American people play villagers, and terrorists play the wolf.

Global Terrorism is a bloody manifestation of the nferiority complex of the Mankind.

A bureaucrat with an urgency for "creativity" on battlefield is as dangerous, as a terrorist with Weapon of Mass Destruction.

The "asymmetric" US Global War on Terrorism is a direct consequence of our "asymmetrical" Society acting "asymmetrically" on the "asymmetrical" Historical Stage.

How  would you be able to distinguish an ideological enemy on battlefield, if you have no idea who your ideological  friend is?

Dr. Walid Al-Rashudi said...

"What compensation will satisfy us? By Allah, we will not be satisfied even if all the Jews are killed." - Dr. Walid Al-Rashudi

Al-Rashudi.jpg

Following are excerpts from a speech delivered by Dr. Walid Al-Rashudi, head of the Department of Islamic Studies at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on February 29, 2008.

Dr. Walid Al-Rashudi said: "One of the important things that we must tell people is that what is going on in Palestine today is a real holocaust. This is the real holocaust. A holocaust is not the burning of 50-60 Jews in Germany or Switzerland, but the Jews continue to call it the Holocaust. In case you don't know, let me tell you that more than 90% of the Muslims in the world do not know that the Jews receive reparations from Germany and Switzerland for the so-called Holocaust affair. We believe that there was indeed a holocaust, but how many died? 50-60 people? Afterwards, they used it to blackmail these two countries. So what are we supposed to say in the face of the Gaza holocaust? What compensation will satisfy us? By Allah, we will not be satisfied even if all the Jews are killed."

Comment by Boris Tiraspolsky:
So, one should appreciate the ideological honesty of Dr. Walid Al-Rashud. Our irreconcilable enemies will kill Jews first, after that they will kill all of us and replace the Constitution of the United States with the Islamic Law as the Supreme Law of the Land. Therefore,  one cannot say that one never knew what to expect from the Islamic jihad.

Some time ago I wrote: "The problem is that neither of the currently available U.S. Instruments nor Forces - Military, Law Enforcement, Intelligence - historically designed to carry out a full scale defensive-offensive “ideological struggle” with any hostile ideology challenging our way of life." (Read more...) I wrote that, but no U.S. Bureaucrats responded with practical solutions.

Strategic Relationships
by J. R. Nyquist

If you read the news from day to day you will notice a gradual shift in the strategic balance. This year’s headlines are as representative as those found in previous years. Perhaps you’ve read about joint military exercises involving South Africa and Russia, South Africa and China, or North Korea acquiring uranium from Congo. Perhaps you noted the Communist victory in the Angolan Civil War. Maybe you’ve caught a glimpse of Europe’s growing anti-Americanism, or noticed stories about Russian weapons reaching insurgents in Iraq. How about a recent headline stating that “Germany wants a new strategic Partnership with Russia”? Continued...

An anathema to the left

"Facing imminent defeat, the Marxist killers are using other tactics, the tactics of deceit and disinformation. They are tapping into the gullible left in the United States to influence policy. Using their own words to charm the vain and muddled leadership of the Democrats and appealing to their various ideologies..."

Venezuelan Dictator Hugo Chavez is rattling his sword, deploying troops, and hoping to distract his increasingly agitated populace from the domestic policies that are dragging Venezuela deeper into the poverty and dysfunction of socialism. It is inevitable that as the economy declines, shortages spread, food become scarce, and crime skyrockets, a foreign enemy will be found to blame for the woes Chavez' absurd policies cause. Continued...

Reporting on Islamist terrorism

"...as long as the American free press and media is not challenged to address the ideology of Islamism itself, and its use of Sharia, there is the ongoing media gullibility to accept whomever sounds "reasonable" at that moment as representing something other than "Islamic extremism"..."

Jihad, Islamism, and the American Free Press
By Jeffrey Imm

In the war with global Jihad, words and definitions matter, and in fighting anti-freedom ideologies, the free press and media should be America's greatest ally. Yet the confused and inconsistent reporting on Islamism and Islamist terrorism is another key fault line in America's struggles with global Jihad. Continued...

A frightening and enlightening reaction.

Imagine, dear friends, for a moment, the following scenario. Picture a Christian man walking into a Hindu school and opening fire on students as they were learning their holy books. Then imagine that, not only had he murdered eight young students and wounded more than 30, but just try to visualize groups of Christians breaking out in song and dance to celebrate this “brave victory.” Continued...

Cyprus Archbishop Makarios and terrorism

"The Greek Cypriot guerrilla group, EOKA, the National Organisation for Cypriot Combatants, was set up last year [1955] with the aim of ending British rule on the island and supporting "enosis", or unification with Greece. rchbishop Makarios has been a leading figure in Cyprus's campaign for "enosis" and the right of the Cypriot people to self-determination. He is also said to have supported the creation of EOKA."

Lack of ideological strength of the Nation

"The Will of the Nation is an ability of the Nation to resist enemy at a time of total terrorist warfare, and consists of the following properties: 1. Political Will of the Government to conduct anti-terrorist war; 2. Economic Will of Players on the Market Place to support anti-terrorist war economically; 3. Social Will of the population to keep strong relationship within the Society at a time of battle with Terror; 4. Cultural Will, or rather ideological strength of all members of the Society to stay as ONE cultural Entity for "worse or better" in battle with Terror. A lack of any of the above properties is in fact, a deterioration of the Will of the Nation to resist." - Boris Tiraspolsky

Secretary Michael Chertoff said...

"We generally look at risk as consequence, vulnerability, and threat -- and threat includes intent and capability. And of those things, probably the most significant is consequence, because it's the least variable. I mean, threat, in terms of intent and capability, can change quite readily. Vulnerability, if we're doing our job right, gets reduced -- so that should be a risk reducer. But consequence, really, generally means the same. And that's the template we use across everything."

Secretary Chertoff:
