“Character” in general means individuality or a sum of traits and habits that make up a person’s mental and moral being. Therefore, National Character is a “sum” made up of the History of the Nation, absolute Ethics, and perfect Esthetics the Nation is striving for on the Historic Stage.
Most impressive examples of “character “ with no doubts were the Founding Fathers of the Nation. What made all of them National Characters on the Historic Stage was their ability individually to hear the call of the Historical Need. The Founding Fathers assumed their full responsibility for carrying out their Historical Mission of creation of the Nation.
United States of America was the very first country in the History of the Mankind made by a collective human effort. It was made out of a human craving for Life, Liberty and Joy. It was made by the Spirit, the Word and the Action of the Constitution of the United States given to the People. The Constitution was for the Nation “the Word, and the Word was with God, and word was God. All things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made.” Joan: 1, 1-3.
The Historic Need demanded certain quality Characters on the Historical Stage, and the Founding Fathers had enough Mental and Spiritual capacity to be up to that Historic Call. Historic Need is always bloodthirsty. It always calls for a human sacrifice. Our Founding Fathers knew that, but they joyfully accepted that difficult Path, and they never trembled or regretted to meet their Destiny. As a result our whole country exists just because of the collective sacrifice of the Founding Fathers.
Read these incredible words over and over again and open your heart and your mind for the Power that raised the Spirit of our Nation and turned simple people into Immortal Heroes of the Nation: “with the firm Reliance on the Protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortune and our sacred Honor.” The most impressive fact is that they meant what they said!
National Character is not just an abstract and intangible idea. National Character is, in fact, a normal Human Being living among other Human Beings. That is what they call “one of us”.
National Character lives under the same Supreme Law of the Land, and is shaped by the same Principals of Existence as everyone else. The only difference is that National Character is an embodiment of the highest possible perfection in a society which the rest of the society strives to achieve either by imitations or by own more perfect creative achievements. Therefore, National Character is a true invaluable Treasure of the Nation.
Absolute Ethics and perfect Esthetics of the Constitution of the United States are most valuable properties that must be understood and accepted by the American people , as necessary to further development of the Nation. Moreover, absolute Ethics and perfect Esthetics of National Character must be something that is not distanced and foreign to the general population. They should be desired and admired by the American people in their everyday life in order for the American people to become a superior Force in struggle with Nation's enemies, domestic and foreign.
Building anti-terrorist National Character according to absolute Ethics and perfect Esthetics of the Constitution of the United States is a long term ideological struggle. The Nation does need Individuals who are capable to withstand any pressure to the point of saying “if no one in the Society is with absolute Ethics and perfect Esthetics of the Constitution, I shall be with absolute Ethics and perfect Esthetics of the Constitution, but not with the Society”. These strong willed Individuals could be called National Characters. Such Individuals are true Defenders of the homeland in "victory or death" battle with Terror.
